BURNING BOOKS PRESS
Burning Books Press of Los Angeles produces a line of colorful, collectible artist’s books in limited editions in which each book is unique. Since its inception in Venice, California, in 1984, the look and feel of one-of-a-kind limited edition artist’s books from Burning Books Press is visual music.
Artist’s books from Burning Books Press are a page-turning delight. Running color and narrative harmonies of graphics and text flow from page to rhythmically-linked page.
In addition to a selection of one-of-a-kind collage books, original and classic Burning Books Press books are hand-cut and individually-assembled, using archival papers and archival-quality materials. The look and feel of each limited edition Burning Book is deliberately varied during production, making each Burning Books Press original and classic volume different and distinct. An affordable line of limited edition Edition Noir books features original designs on commercial papers.
After assembly, works are numbered, signed, and dated by the artist. Each artist's book is shipped in a hand-made cardboard box to protect against damage in shipping, as well as light and excessive handling upon arrival.
